The revision strategy has helped me improve my writing abilities tremendously. I have really noticed how my writing in papers has gotten much better. Before my writing was very poor and I think this is due the fact that I did not have many ideas as to how I can improve my writing. My favorite revision strategy was peer review. Peer review was basically just having other people read our essays and make comments but it helped me so much! Most of the time when writing I get into this zone and I feel as if I am typing things that make sense when in reality it does not. Having other eyes read over my essay to make sure things make sense and having them add their comments and ideas in gave me another point of view towards my papers. The peer review process was a simple way for me to make major improvements on my papers. After reading my peer’s comments I would take them into consideration and find ways to maybe solve their comment or resolve the issue that they have brought up. From seeing comments that show up often on my papers I now work on making sure that those type of comments do not show up on my next paper. This has helped me improve the way I write and further my writing skills.
