Organization: “Throw more quotes in” Organization is based on how you place things in your essay. So when regarding the usage of quotes that falls under organization of the essay.

Idea: “I like the idea of how you make the reader question things!” This is a comment based on an idea because I talked about how I liked a certain way they put a question in. The idea of asking questions is a great way to hook the readers in.

Evidence: “Quote to explain more” Quotes can also be used to explain a part of an essay. With this certain area she talked a lot about the essay and things that the artist did but if she used a quote it would help back up her essay more.

I think using global edits helps create a better essay than the local ones. With global edits you look at the big pictures instead of looking where a comma could go. When you look at the big picture you could make some changes that allow you to maybe add a new paragraph basked off of an idea that way maybe mentioned only a little bit. Also, when looking at the big ideas you can critique things if they are not correlated towards the thesis. Using global edits allows us to see if we are straying away from the main idea and it helps us stay on topic when writing thee essays. The ideas of focusing on organization, ideas, and evidence will help us when writing our essays. By fixing these we will be able to make our essays better and full of good solid points.

Continue to improve by being as specific as possible with your comments. You’ll get more and more out of the experience as you do. 3/3
